Adding Images

If this is not a rotating image or a faculty profile image, than do the following. The following is intended to demonstrate how to add images into a page.  In other words, it should teach you how to insert an image into your content text.

The first step is to be on a page or post window. Once there, you should see the following under the title.

Click on the first square box. Once you click on that, the following will appear.

Select the image from your desktop that you wish to use. Once you have selected that image, a thumbnail and the following information of the image will pop up.

After you make sure that none is selected for alignment. Also, if you inserted the wrong size for the image, do not worry. You can resize it once you put it in by dragging a corner.

Adding Links

Links are fairly straightforward. First, you write what you want to link. In this case, Williams Home Page will be linked.

To actually link your words, you should select it and then push the icon of the link. It is highlighted in red in the following image.

Once you click on this icon, the following should pop up.

Write your URL in “link URL”. In this case, http://www.williams.edu was written.

After you have hit insert, your text should look like the above. It would look like the following on your page.
